David Sharpe will join December 9 Song & Story Swap

Please come share in an evening of music and stories at the December Pioneer Valley Folklore Society SONG & STORY SWAP.

David Sharpe will join the Song & Story Swap at the Black Sheep in Amherst on Dec. 9Friday, December 9, 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the Black Sheep Café, 79 Main St., Amherst, Mass.

Guest performer will be storyteller David Sharpe.

David Sharpe's storytelling has been captivating audiences at camps, schools and festivals for twenty years.  He was schooled under Tony Montanaro at the renowned Celebration Barn in South Paris, Maine and has built a repertoire of tales strongly influenced by the southern Appalachian Mountains, coastal Maine and the native elders with whom he has studied.

Come hear him tell stories that honor humankind's relationship with earth cycles and celebrate the curiosity and creativity of children.
 

The warm-up theme this month is Peace.
